Makespace is a process-driven organization focused on architecture and interior design based out of Hyderabad. Contemporary modern, contemporary minimal, and contemporary vernacular are the core design styles that Makespace specializes in. Their approach towards design is process-driven and they believe that the end product turns out to be the best with this approach and this is something that keeps Makespace ahead of the competition.
Talking about Divi’s Therapeutic apartment, Naina says that the project was a tight four-month timeframe and posed multifaceted challenges. The pursuit of the “clean lines" and “less is more" concepts demanded a delicate balance between minimalism and intricate detailing. Incorporating stone claddings throughout the house added sophistication but significantly increased project time.
The apartment interior was a masterclass in the fusion of minimalism and natural materiality, adhering to a serene color palette primarily composed of beige and white tones. The concept revolved around a sophisticated yet understated aesthetic, emphasizing clean lines and uncluttered spaces, ensuring a harmonious balance between minimalism and a rich material palette.
Naina Reddy’s design philosophy centers on the elegance of simplicity, embracing minimalism. Her guiding design principle underscores the importance of a process-driven approach over a goal-centric mindset. According to her, each element should serve a purpose, and by prioritizing this philosophy and principle, she consistently achieves outcomes that surpass expectations.
DIVI THERAPEUTiC APARTMENT
Super surface walls create a canvas of sophistication, complemented by bespoke rugs for a touch of personalized luxury. Illuminated by the exquisite glow of Iguzzini architectural lights, this space embodies the perfect synergy of style and functionality.
The seating, meticulously crafted by Design Eight, beckons individuals to engage in contemplation within an environment enriched by Fusion Rock/Stone Life wall cladding. This thoughtful design choice establishes a seamless fusion of natural elements and tranquility, where the tactile presence of rock and stone harmoniously coexists with the inviting comfort of the seating arrangement, creating a space that encourages both reflection and serenity.
Step onto the grounding Terrazzo/CMC flooring, enhanced by Seasons’ thoughtfully curated furnishings. Each piece elevates the space, creating a harmonious blend of relaxation and connection. From cozy chairs to inviting tables, Seasons contributes to an immersive environment that captivates visually and fosters a profound connection with the space.
The master bedroom is adorned with Natural Elements’ exquisite wooden flooring and the wardrobe, a seamless fusion of style and practicality, is a bespoke creation from the craftsmanship of IKEA.
In this captivating dining room, Tonin Casa/Design Eight’s stylish table and chairs seamlessly merge sophistication and comfort. Mooi’s decorative lights cast an enchanting glow, while CNC mint stone, Fusion rock, Quartz, and Stonelife wall cladding add texture and natural charm. Design Eight’s influence extends to the well- curated bar and pantry, creating a harmonious blend of elegance and modern design.
In the Master bathroom, the incorporation of a tub crafted from pink quartz was a deliberate choice, guided by the belief in the healing properties of semi- precious stones. Pink quartz, renowned for its calming and healing attributes in crystal therapy, was selected to create a tranquil bathing experience for the client.
