The villa’s zoning maintains interconnection between semi-private and private spaces through landscape pockets on each floor. The structure’s increasing levels from northeast to southwest represent a mountain, named Himadri. Volumes are scooped out to bring in light and shadows, creating breathing spaces. Lighting and ventilation come from windows and niches, rather than from the facade.

The foyer staircase leads to the Jaali partition, which connects to the courtyard and the pool. The non-linear pattern of lights on the ceiling creates a dramatic effect in the area and allows for shadow play, breaking away from the linear light pattern used in the rest of the house.

A bespoke, hand-crafted door at the entrance enhances the grandeur of the house.

Grey and beige textures in combination with different marble surfaces, white abstract breeze blocks, gold highlights, contrasting curtain folds and a ceiling with wavy birch ply rafters create a bold and interesting space. The ceiling of the space has been thoughtfully designed to mimic the fluid shape of water, one of the fundamental elements of nature. Complementing this element, a book-matched stone wall depicts an image of a person in a state of meditation, filling the environment with a sense of calm and harmony.

The stairs, brightly illuminated, provide a seamless transition for the residents from the ground floor to the common area on the first floor.

The area connects the three rooms on the first floor – the library, parent’s bedroom and master bedroom. White stretch ceiling lights among different levels of boxed ceiling mirrored with kota stone flooring patterns create a welcoming space.

A flowy curved level up in combination with a circular window, a fluted bookmark marble backdrop, AGT panels and various layers of lighting gives it a soothing look. A visual division between warm and natural wooden flooring and sleek Italian flooring effectively separates the space. The headboard wall boasts custom Book matched Italian marble, featuring flutes that match those on the ceiling and wall panel for a cohesive and elegant look.

The spa is equipped with a jacuzzi, a steam room, a powder room, a massage bed and a dressing vanity. The bed is kept under the skylight. A black MCM cladding and two circular stretched ceiling lights inspired by the caverns along with a cappuccino colour shell create a subtle experience.

Staying with the colour palette of the house, grey and beige colours are used in the bedroom. A v-shaped angular tile flooring in combination with the warm tones brings in a soothing effect. Cross lines above the headboard match the grid ceiling and the shadow play visually breaks the angle of the tiles.

Three different layers of lighting such as the optic fibre stretch ceiling light, cove light and the decorative rattan wall lights create a mesmerizing entertainment space.

Earthy tones from a leather backdrop, a gold metallic texture ceiling, a yin-yang marble flooring and two perforated hanging lights create a warm and welcoming space. Mirror cladding on the wall has been incorporated in the living room to visually expand the space, creating a more open atmosphere.

A carved mint stone cladding with cement grey textures, and a subtle blue Turri sofa overlooking the pool area creates a peaceful mood. A generously-sized window has been incorporated into the design to allow ample natural light providing a connection to nature and adding a sense of tranquillity.

Incorporating handpicked day seating made of metal and leather in the corner of a room not only adds functionality but also enhances the overall aesthetic appeal.

The predominant use of wood in combination with neutral colours and indirect lighting makes it a charismatic space. The wooden grid ceiling on the four-poster bed is given to hide the harshness of the light. The profile ighting situated above the wooden grid is directed upwards to create evenly distributed illumination throughout the room. The panelling located on the right-hand side of the room hides both the walk-in area and the toilet adding a touch of privacy to the overall design. Two translucent chairs for additional seating not only provide an unobstructed view but also enhances the visual depth of the room.

An oval shape stretched ceiling light forms the centre of attraction of the library. The fixed seating that has been created acts as a partition between the two levels and defines two different zones.

The second-floor common area seamlessly connects with the adjacent terrace garden through a glass sliding folding door, creating an expansive entertainment zone. The unique feature of this space is the fingerprint ceiling, which is made by combining the actual fingerprints of the clients. As you walk up the staircase towards the lift, the fingerprint pattern belonging to the client catches your eye, while the seating area ceiling displays the fingerprint pattern of the lady of the house.

A swing on the balcony of the master bedroom, provides the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the views of the swimming pool and courtyard. The brick wall cladding behind the swing
adds depth and character to the balcony.

The son’s room is separated with an M.S. and cane backdrop creating a cosy seating zone overlooking the balcony behind it. With the curtains drawn open, natural light filters in and creates a captivating interplay of shadows in this space.

The addition of a mustard-coloured leather sofa not only adds practicality but also infuses a pop of colour into the room.

The grooved birch ply panels and ash wood rafter in combination with a leather backdrop, a brass hanging light and tints of blue and yellow covered in a grey shell create a comfortable space. The fluted pattern behind the bed on the wall symbolises the element, of water. The doors to the walk-in area and toilet are discreetly hidden within the wall on the right.

A white stretched ceiling light running around the mirror-cladded walls creates an illusion of a skylight and makes the gym look spacious.
