The Ideal Family Home

Elevation: The elevation of the house has been kept contemporary with straight lines. The façade is made with High-Pressure Laminate, glass, stone cladding, and wood. It represents the elements of wood, nature, glass, and water which are used throughout the house. The house overlooks a lush green garden with an extended driveway.

wood door and drawing hall: The colossal teak door is adorned with customized metal carvings and brass hardware. The giant entrance door makes for a great first impression. A huge striking frame in mother of pearls framed in teak wood, beautiful bronze statues, wooden and glass work, and a vintage teakwood console table add a royal touch to this space.

Wooden deck: In this project, the architect took on the challenge to create an unwinding area which is an extension of the dining space. This east-facing gazebo with a floating deck is the family’s favourite spot to enjoy the morning sun.

Garden: The entrance opens to the lawn area and the pathway in the sprawling lawn leads to a fountain. The landscape lighting gives a festive look to the lawns in the evening. This area has been designed keeping in view the client’s desire for space to throw private parties/family gatherings. It also doubles up as a zen garden for yoga and relaxing morning walks.

Double-height living room and tv unit: This double-height family lounge is the heart of this house. It is connected to the dining area.  Combination of flamy dazzled half sun veneer and smoked kosipo veneer used on the TV unit blend in together perfectly. Ornamented stands beside the TV unit add character to the space. Most of the furniture was handcrafted at the site.

Younger son’s room: The younger son’s room is fit to his taste with a natural wood rustic theme. Exotic antique beam oak veneer used on wardrobe doors, TV unit perfectly fits the theme. Low seating area with bean bags, walnut finished veneer used on ceiling blend in the room perfectly.

Older son’s room: The other son’s room is wrapped in warm shades of beige, dark brown and light brown.

Outdoor gazebo on the lawn: The outdoor gazebo in hues of grey and white with metal furniture from Loom Craft is perfect for family weekends and fun get-togethers.
