City View Home

A magnificent home with view of city skyline designed by Vinay and Rashmi Rathi

This home is a beautiful amalgamation of two flats that seamlessly combines form and function. The sleek design of this home is enhanced by a cleverly placed curtain dividing the two bedrooms, concealing a duct that adds an element of surprise and interest.

Visitors to this unique home are greeted by a stunning brass tree of life sculpture, complete with a lotus plant at its base. The electrical panels are cleverly concealed behind a display area, showcasing artifacts and doubling as storage space. The result is a space that is both functional and visually striking.

Different colored stones are laid in a pattern throughout the house. Adding a touch of glamour is the gold and silver coated wall behind the TV which also complements the coloring of the tiles. The living room features a big picture window offering a clear and unobstructed view of the city landscape.

A unique and visually appealing feature of the balcony is the printed flex ceiling with a backlight. A tree-printed fabric ceiling gives the illusion of being under a tree when looking up adding a touch of natural element to the space. Artificial grass and plants adorn the balcony giving it a natural look.

The architects carefully chose the custom-made table, murals, and furniture in this home to meet the specific preferences and requirements of their client. These design elements can be found throughout the home, adding a personal touch and ensuring that the space is both functional and visually appealing

Six-seater glass-top dining table adds elegance to the room. The wooden ceiling in the sit-out area breaks the monotony of the plain ceiling which runs throughout the house. The sofa and lounger provide comfortable seating options for guests, while the picture window allows for natural light and provides a beautiful view of the city landscape in the background. This space is perfect for relaxing, and socializing, and is also ideal for taking photos with the stunning cityscape as a backdrop. The orange-colored lounger adds a pop of color and style to the space, making it a chic and inviting place to relax and unwind. Bespoke mirrors add a touch of glamour to the space. A custom-made backlit temple made from Satvario tiles adds a sense of tranquillity and spiritualism to the space.

Showcasing the owners’ passion for horses a bespoke stone-carved horse frame in the master bedroom adds a personal touch to the room. The veneer on the walls and coloured stone pattern on the floor follow in all bedrooms creating a cohesive and harmonious look in the bedrooms. The golden mirror in the walk-in wardrobe adds a touch of warmth and glamour to the space.

Breaking the monotony is the half-carved stone wall in the room. Custom-made beds from Italy with reading lamp rods allow for bedside lighting that is ideal for reading, while the sensor lights around the bed’s bottom frame add ambient lighting to the space.

A large bedside on one side of the bed and the other side runs to the study table in the child’s bedroom.

The metal leaves on the wooden board behind the bed add a unique and visually interesting element to the room. The room is done in earthy colors and the quilted red chair adds color to this muted space

The room is finished in a palette of earthy colors, except for a bold red quilted chair that adds a pop of color to the otherwise muted space. The wooden board behind the bed adds a unique and visually interesting element to the room. The metal leaves are strategically placed upon this board. The combination of natural materials and a mix of colours creates a visually interesting aesthetic.
